Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog Inc. ("MAVAD," "we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer non-profit organization. By accessing or using this website you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after we post changes means you accept the revised terms.

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or use it to transmit harmful or misleading content.

• All donations are voluntary and, unless we agree otherwise in writing, are non-refundable.
• Donations are processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• MAVAD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not provide tax advice — please consult your own advisor.
• Sponsorship of a vest supports our general mission of equipping Massachusetts law enforcement K-9s. We assign vests, equipment, training, and green K-9 funding based on department need and available funds.

Merchandise and calendar orders placed through our store are fulfilled through our Shopify store, and Shopify's checkout, payment, and shipping terms apply to your purchase. We do not accept returns or issue refunds on merchandise. If an item arrives damaged or an order is incorrect, email us at info@mavestadog.org and we will do our best to make it right.

Product descriptions, pricing, and availability may change without notice, and we may cancel an order if an item is listed in error or is out of stock.

Vest requests, grant applications, and volunteer sign-ups are collected through forms hosted by Tally. Submitting a request or application does not guarantee an award. Grant decisions are made by our volunteer board based on need, documentation, and available funding.

This site links to and relies on services operated by others, including PayPal, Shopify, Tally, and event registration platforms. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own agreements.

The Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog name and logo, site text, and photographs of K-9 teams, handlers, and events are owned by MAVAD or used with permission from the contributing photographer or department. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use them commercially without our prior written consent. Media inquiries are welcome at info@mavestadog.org.

This site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that information about vests, equipment, events, or grant cycles is complete or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAVAD and its volunteers, directors, and officers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or any third-party service linked from it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
